Thrifty and Nifty!

Hey everybody,
Just wanted to remind everyone that it is FREE MOVIE MONDAY! We love to watch movies but can't afford to go out to the theater or rent a $4 movie from well known companies. However, we do love REDBOX and now that they offer a free promotional code every Monday, we haven't paid to see a movie in a really long time!

You can use the code on any movie at the pick-up location and if you have multiple check cards/CC you can get 1 free movie per card. We each have a check card from our bank, so every week we usually pick out one movie for Grant and one grown-up movie! You don't have to return the movie until 9pm on Tuesday evening, so it's a great date night and we really look forward to it every week! This week, I think we are going to get The Tale of Despereaux and maybe Bedtime Stories. We will see how those turn out!

Here is this week's code - 4CW33N - Enjoy!

Also, if you haven't tried SWAGBUCKS yet, you should really give it a try! I only started a week ago using their search engine and am alread halfway to getting a $5 Starbucks card! There are plenty of prizes you can redeem for and they make great gifts or it's a fun way to treat yourself. Why not earn points for searching for things you already need!

Right now at JCPENNEY'S, get $10 off of a $10 or more purchase with online code MOMSGR8. You could end up getting $10 of free stuff! Shipping starts at $4.50 if you choose in-store pick up. Remember to shop through Ebates to get 4 % back on your purchase. I've been looking for a great deal on sheets for Grant's new bed at the new house, so I might just pick up some cheap bedding!

  1. Thanks for the tip, Lex! We do Redbox but we've only gotten a free code once, so thanks for sharing!

  2. Wow! That is cool! I have only been getting videos at the library lately... I love ordering them online and getting them for free. We really like PBS stuff, so I went to their website to find some good videos and then ordered them from the library. Sometimes we do have to wait a while to get them, but it is a nice surprise to get an email saying that there is a movie ready for me. :)
