Can I go all day without saying something negative to Tom? Can I be patient and understanding? It's better to keep your mouth totally shut than say something that tears someone down!

I really like that. And it reminds me of something I read yesterday taught by Joseph Smith (the first LDS prophet): "When you go home, never give a cross or unkind word to your husbands, but let kindness, charity and love crown your works henceforward."
ReplyDeleteI made this a goal of mine to be better about the kinds of things I say (and how I say them) to Spencer. We can make such a difference in our homes as wives and mothers through the things we say.
